At some point I realized I had to put down those words and just get to work. Does the suspicion also stem from a fear that your fans take your lyrics too literally? Maybe earlier I was concerned about being misunderstood, or afraid that people would take what I was saying and use it to validate all kinds of weird beliefs, and sometimes I still sense that.

Or even harmful in some cases? This is especially true as we address more abstract, deeply meaningful topics. But also some things are going to go right as a result of language.
